Those who wish to join engineering in IITs, NITs or other prestigious engineering colleges in India have to clear the JEE Main exam. This is an online exam which is conducted by the National Testing Agency. In 2022, the exam will be held in four sessions. The NTA has not yet announced the dates of the exam. So the students are recommended to keep an eye on the official website.
The exam conducting authority will publish the answer keys once the exam is over. The students can cross-check their answers with the answer key released by the NTA. The JEE Main result will be published online. The result will be published after each session, and the final result will be published after the final session. Students should note that NTA will not send any copies of the result by post. Students should login to the official website with their credentials to view the results.

Steps to View the JEE Result
Following are the steps to view the JEE result.
- Check the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the JEE Result link.
- Enter exam session details, application number, date of birth and security pin to log in.
- On successful login, results will be displayed.
Students can download JEE Main result or take a printout for further reference. Students can view details like the name of the candidate, roll number, date of birth, name of the parent, state code of eligibility, category and nationality, subject-wise NTA scores, and total NTA scores obtained in the respective attempt.
Calculation of JEE Main Score
The JEE score is based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one session. The marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of students. The scores for JEE Main Paper-1, 2A and 2B for all the sessions will be merged together for calculating the final exam result and the overall JEE Main merit list. The best of the four scores will be taken. Students must note that the NTA score of the total is not an aggregate of the NTA score of an individual subject. The percentage of marks obtained is not the NTA score.
If a tie occurs between two students, a certain policy is given by the NTA to avoid confusion. The exam conducting authority will not allow re-evaluation or re-checking of the JEE result. Candidates should note that Category Ranks (CR) and All India Ranks (AIR) are different. The rank obtained in their respective category is the CR. The overall rank obtained by the candidate is the AIR.

The predicted ranks will be according to the details entered by the students.
